Manrikigusari is a traditional Japanese weapon made of two weights connected with a chain about 3 feet long. The Manrikigusari was often concealed in the palm of the ninja and then thrown at the opponent to quickly disable or even kill him. Some variations of this weapon include the usage of a dagger at the end of the chain. i these cases the chain is typically longer and the dagger is swung using the chain to inflict maximum damage on the enemy. Other uses of the Manrikigusari include entangling the chain around the opponent’s arms or legs to tackle him.
