Mongkol
Mongkol is a traditional clothing item used in Muay Thai. It is a band worn around the fighter's forehead. The word Mongkol signifies a blessing. Muay thai fighters believe that wearing the Mongkol will protect them from harm during the fight. nowadays the Mongkol is worn only during the Wai Kru Ram ceremony that precedes the fight.
