Sparring Gear
Sparring gear is a general name for protective items used during martial arts training. Sparring gears differs slightly from one martial art to another but the general concept is the same and the typical sparring gear will include the following items: Headgear (protective helmet, usually foam dipped), chest protectors, groin protectors, mouth pieces, gloves of different types and thickness levels, gear bags, knee and sheen protectors and more. In most cases you can and shoud by sparring gear in a complete set rather than piece by piece.
Most sparring gear for the martial arts is produced overseas and by just a few companies. So when you are purchasing sparring gear it is likely that most brands are manufactured by the same manufacturers. With one difference. The design and thickness of the sparring gear can vary for each brand.
