Tonfa

A wooden stick around 17 inches long with a short protruding handle about 5 inches from the tip. Originally the Tonfa was used in agriculture as a handle to a millstone. When used in battle the Tonfa in a formidable weapon both for offence and defence. It is held along the forearm of the user, and its size should mach the person’s length of the forearm (extending just after the elbow). The Tonfa is used today by many police departments worldwide.
